Privacy policy

How we handle the information you share when you call, fill out a form, or browse the site. Last updated 2026-05-24.

Superior Moving Co. ("Superior Moving," "we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This page explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have. This policy applies to superioreconomymoving.com and the related lead-capture forms on this site.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to quote and complete your move:

  • Contact information — name, phone number, email address.
  • Move details — origin/destination addresses, dates, building type, inventory size, packing preferences, and any notes you share in the form or by phone.
  • Referral information — if you tell us who referred you, we record it so we can thank them.
  • Site analytics (when enabled) — standard web-analytics data such as pages visited, approximate location (city level), device type, and referring source. We do not currently run third-party analytics on this static site; if we add Google Analytics or similar in the future, this policy will be updated and a consent banner will appear.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to your quote request, scheduling inquiry, or general question.
  • To coordinate your move — sharing the minimum necessary information with our crew, your building's property manager (for COI filings), and partners (e.g., long-distance shuttle providers) only when needed to complete the work.
  • To follow up on completed moves (e.g., to confirm satisfaction or ask for a review).
  • To comply with California regulatory and insurance requirements (e.g., written-estimate retention).

3. What we don't do

  • We don't sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
  • We don't share your contact information with marketing partners or "moving leads" aggregators.
  • We don't track you across other websites or use third-party advertising pixels (as of this policy date).

4. How long we keep your information

We retain quote requests, contracts, and move records for the period required by California household-goods carrier regulations and our insurance carriers — typically several years after the move. Unsuccessful leads (no booking) are retained for a shorter period and are not used for marketing. You may request deletion of your records at any time (see section 7).

5. Security

We protect personal information with reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to the minimum number of staff necessary to coordinate your move and we don't store payment card data on our systems (payments are handled through our processor).

6. Children's privacy

This site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Your California privacy rights

If you're a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) give you rights to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you, how we use it, and with whom we share it.
  • Access a copy of the personal information we have about you.
  • Delete personal information we have collected, subject to exceptions (e.g., records we're required to retain by law).
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of "sale" or "sharing" — we don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there's nothing to opt out of, but we'll honor a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal if your browser sends one.
  • Non-discrimination — we won't deny service or charge a different price for exercising your privacy rights.

To exercise these rights, call us at (818) 884-6125 or email quote@superiormoving.la with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling the request.

8. Cookies & tracking

This site currently uses only the minimum cookies required for it to function. If we add analytics or third-party services in the future that use cookies, we'll add a consent banner to obtain your consent first (per Google's Consent Mode and California's CCPA/CPRA requirements).

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Terms of use (short version)

By using this site, you agree:

  • Materials are provided for personal, non-commercial reference. Don't copy, mirror, or redistribute substantial portions without written permission.
  • The site is provided "as is." We don't warrant the accuracy of every detail (especially third-party links such as disposal/donation contacts that may change). For legal, insurance, or regulatory specifics, contact us directly.

  • Claims relating to this site are governed by California law.
